My name is Ville and I am currently working in Vaasa. My F24S-journey started already at the beginning of 2018 when a new gym opened in Oulu Limingantulli and I became a happy member. I valued the clean facilities and the flexibility to use the same membership all over Finland. When the cheap and competitive price was included in the equation, the decision to join as a member was pretty convenient for me! 🤩
After five years of hard work out and possibly a little more developed in the world of the gym, the tables were turned in the summer of 2022 when I got a chance to work as a Site responsible in Vaasa! 🤌 The first weeks were not easy, when the Vaasa gym had been without an employee for a long time and it took some time to clean the facilities to meet our standards. I also had bad luck during my first independent week when the internet connection was totally misfunctioning and I started to doubt myself and wonder am I this bad at this work when all the new membership cards did not work at all. Through hard work and never giving up, I knocked the challenges out of my way! My working mentality is essentially to solve problems by myself or by asking colleagues and only as a last resort to contact higher powers, such as SR-support.
During my first year, I already received the honor to act one of the candidates for SR of the year. This time the trophy was given to another star employee but instead, I was elected for a rookie of the year. I also had a great time with our Talent Bootcamp-group, when we were selected to represent our company to the Swedish board. We met each other during three different modules; last fall in Helsinki, then a few months later in Tampere and finally we presented our project development ideas in Lund, Sweden this spring. We really made progress and were able to establish new connections! 🌟
The reason why I enjoy working at Fitness24seven is the way how we treat our members. As long term thinking is being one of our values, long-term customer relationships are created with hospitality and I try to make every member to feel like home when they visit my gym. Customers want to feel safe and secure while working out at the gym. Hospitality-mindset will lower the threshold for a customer to share concerns, to give a feedback from the gym or ideas for improvement. As a representative of F24S, I am doing whatever it takes to foster a gym environment where nobody is left behind and everyone could feel like they are a part of something! 🔥❤️
As a member of the Fitness24seven family, I embraced my role with unmatched enthusiasm and perhaps my biggest weakness is that I often spend too much time talking to a new member and the queue grows behind...😆🤷♂️ My working days are spent cheerfully motivating our members and ensuring that the gym facilities are in order to provide members with a good gym experience every single day! 💪🏋️♀️
